Jaden is a California native and I’m a homegrown Iowan. He’s the muscles, I’m the creativity. We met at Wayne State College (go cats!) Wayne has this way about it that gets people to stay… So we stayed and prayed of owning a business together someday.

Fast forward 8 years. God has prepared us for this exact moment. After job loss and living on savings for 18 months, He provided us with the finances to move forward with our dreams.

We believe every home we come in contact with is a stewardship, not an ownership. After all, you can’t take it with you. But while we’re on earth, we want to serve others well. You can rest knowing we’re not “just” another contractor or landlord, this is what we’re called to do.

1 Peter 4:10 “Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve others, as good stewards of the varied grace of God.”

How We Work Together

In the beginning stages of every project, we’re both involved doing demolition and project planning. When it’s time for framing, Jaden takes over. Behind the scenes, I am working diligently gathering history and design details while keeping close contact with the client and contractors. As drywall and paint go up, I take over and to finalize details such as lighting, metal finishes, textiles, and cleaning.

Family is prioritized above any job we do

We only work together on Friday’s. The rest of the week one of us is always at home raising our children while the other is working. If you’re lucky, you might spot one of our toddlers on the job site helping us out!
